There is far more to this world than taught in our schools, shown in the media, or proclaimed by the church and state. Most of mankind lives in a hypnotic trance, taking to be reality what is instead a twisted simulacrum of reality, a collective dream in which values are inverted, lies are taken as truth, and tyranny is accepted as security. They enjoy their ignorance and cling tightly to the misery that gives them identity. Fortunately, some are born with spiritual immune systems that sooner or later give rejection to the illusory worldview grafted upon them from birth through social conditioning. They begin sensing that something is amiss and start looking for answers. Inner knowledge and anomalous outer experiences show them a side of reality others are oblivious to, and so begins their journey of awakening. Each step of the journey is made by following the heart instead of following the crowd and by choosing knowledge over ignorance.

Knowledge is the key to unlocking our potential. It gives us the self-determination, responsibility, and power necessary to cast off the chains of covert oppression. Knowledge is therefore the greatest protector, for it also gives us foresight to impeccably handle the challenges of life and, most importantly, to sidestep the traps on the path to awakening. The more you know of higher truths and apply what you know, the more you begin operating under higher laws that transcend the limitations of the lower.

The problem: Are you dreaming?

Are you asleep or awake? What about people you interact with daily? Most will answer that they are awake, and that those around them are awake as well. It’s a simple question with an easily determined answer, or so it seems.

Not all is as it seems. Rather than two states of being, there are at least four. The mind and body can be asleep or awake independently of each other.

With mind and body awake, one is truly awake. With mind and body asleep, one is dreaming. With mind awake and body asleep, one is lucid-dreaming. With mind asleep and body awake, one is sleepwalking. Gradations exist between these four states, ranging from hypnotism and trance to daydreaming and dim consciousness.

The common understanding of what it means to be “awake” disguises the truth. In truth, most who call themselves awake are actually not awake at all. They are either hypnotized, dimly conscious, sleepwalking, daydreaming, or in a state of trance. What all these states have in common is that the conscious core of the individual is absent or passive, blowing like a leaf in the winds of environmental stimuli.

Waking dreams

We dream while physically asleep. But for many, dreams do not end in the morning. Getting up, showering, eating, working, watching TV—all those are continuations of a dream state that remains essentially uninterrupted, 24 hours a day.

You may realize how in dreams our sense of reality is disabled and we submit our attention to the most ridiculous dramas and scenarios. In dreams, we make the strangest “logical” associations that amount to no logic at all, have little say in what happens to us, do things impulsively, and never question our reality or observe ourselves.

Because people tend to be mentally asleep while going about their daily business, they carry out exactly the same behavior. All that limits them is the stability of their physical environment. Nevertheless, they are just as easily suggestible, capable of false logic, and in passive submission to the environment as during their nightly dreams.

Observe what people do and say, the anecdotes and gossip they speak, how they may communicate via recitations of lines from movies or TV shows, speak in trite memetic phrases without conscious thought or originality, engage in ludicrous programmed behavior, engross themselves in petty dramas, and switch to goofy or borrowed personalities that you never question—as long as you are asleep.

The world and society is an insane asylum, but everyone is too asleep to notice the insanity. Just as you may not question insane dreams while having them, so do most people not question their insane lives. But, if you observe yourself, return your focus of attention to your present location and moment in time, then observe those around you with this perspective, you will see that they are virtually sleepwalking. Ever wish you could observe another person’s dreams? Well, your wish is granted – just observe others and you will see them behaving exactly as they would in dreams, were their dream environments as stable as this physical one.

The moment you forget yourself and become fully absorbed in what you perceive, you are no longer awake. You have forgotten about your own consciousness and are in a hypnotic trance focused entirely upon the object of your thoughts or perceptions. At that point, your freewill is surrendered and you become a machine, input and output determined by what enthralls you.

The implications of mass somnambulism is obvious. With billions of people asleep, those in power who are awake have the advantage. Sleeping people are easily controlled. Their conscious core exists within a mental prison, harnessed for time, labor, and energy. They possess little or no freewill because they have abandoned the awareness necessary to utilize it.

The corporate media and network news is controlled and works against us

Let me begin by stating that all in the world is not as you have been told. The old saying that “truth is stranger than fiction” couldn’t be more accurate, for we have been deceived on such a grand scale that most would have a difficult time in comprehending the full extent.

The behind the scenes machinations of big money and politics are so well hidden from most of the population that if people actually knew how things were really run, we would quite literally have a second revolution overnight. Henry Ford knew this well when he said,

“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.”

Most people who read this might have a hard time fathoming how an entire nation could be so well deceived, but it’s really not that hard when you understand the inner workings and hierarchy of an overly revered media in which we place our blind trust.

The truth is not as you know it. Our faith in the media myth has been our Achilles heel.

Many have realized long ago that our politicians will lie to us at the drop of a hat, but most have no clue that our news media lies and deceives us just as much, if not more so.

We have been deceived by our media to such an extent, mostly because people are too trusting of our news system. They very naively believe that broadcasters and journalists would never lie to us. This trust has worked against us with devastating consequences which are unknown to most.

To understand how badly you have been misled, you first need to learn about how our news organizations have been infiltrated. Once you learn this undeniable historical fact, it is far easier to understand that life is not as you know it.

If you’ve never seen the 1976 movie “Network” you’ve missed one of the best Oscar nominated films on the power of the media over people. The media is supposed to be the watchdog over the American republic and our democracy, but few know or realize that it was usurped nearly 100 years ago and has been completely stolen from us in the last thirty years since the advent of Reagan deregulation.

Don’t believe it? Put down the TV remote and do some research on your own for once, instead of being spoon-fed your news, or disinformation, as it truly is.

Josh Fox narrates his reception of a letter in May, 2008, from a natural gas company offering to lease his family’s land in Milanville, Pennsylvania for $100,000 to drill for gas. Fox then set out to see how communities are being affected in the west where a natural gas drilling boom has been underway for the last decade. He spent time with citizens in their homes and on their land as they relayed their stories of natural gas drilling in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Texas, among others. He spoke with residents who have experienced a variety of chronic health problems directly traceable to contamination of their air, of their water wells or of surface water. In some instances, the residents are reporting that they obtained a court injunction or settlement money from gas companies to replace the affected water supplies with potable water or water purification kits.

Throughout the documentary, Fox reached out to scientists, politicians, and gas industry executives and ultimately found himself in the halls of Congress as a subcommittee was discussing the Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals Act, “a bill to amend the Safe Drinking Water Act to repeal a certain exemption for hydraulic fracturing.” Hydraulic fracturing was exempted from the Safe Drinking Water Act in the Energy Policy Act of 2005.

Loose Change is a series of films released between 2005 and 2009 which argue that the September 11 attacks were planned and conducted by elements within the United States government, and base the claims on perceived anomalies in the historical record of the attacks.

Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup was the 2009 edition that was written, directed, and edited by Dylan Avery. Unlike the previous editions, this was narrated by actor Daniel Sunjata (who shares the same beliefs of this film). Original music was composed by Mic Cartier and the music/score used in previous versions were not used. This version started with a history of false flag operations. The graphics, interviews, and footage were changed and updated. There were interviews with Dr. Stephen Jones about the alleged nano-thermite residue found at the bottom of World Trade Centers 1, 2, and 7.

In addition, near the end of the film, there was an exclusive interview with Barry Jennings, who was an eyewitness who had been stuck in building 7, claimed to have heard explosions, “stepped over bodies”, and questioned why and how World Trade Center 7 was brought down. The film also notes the coincidence of Jennings’ death occurring two days prior to the National Institute of Standards and Technology building 7 report release date, as well as the fact that Jennings’ testimony contradicts the “official explanation” that there were no deaths or witnesses of explosions in building 7. It goes on to state that a private investigator was hired to investigate his death, which was prompted with a reply stating that the case was referred to the police, that a full refund is given, and to not email about that individual again. This book is a forensic analysis of what effectively is a crime scene. Ground Zero and the surrounding areas were photographed countless thousands of times, yet no one really assessed all of the phenomena found in these photographs. What is presented in this book is not a theory and it is not speculation. It is evidence. It is the body of empirical evidence that must be explained in order to determine what happened at Ground Zero.

Anyone declaring who did what or how they did it before they have determined what was done is merely promoting either speculation or propaganda. The popular chant, “9/11 was an inside job,” is, scientifically speaking, no different from the chant that “19 bad guys with box cutters did it.” Neither one is the result of a scientific investigation supported by evidence that would be admissible in court. Neither identifies what crime was committed or how it was committed.

The order of crime solving is to determine

1) WHAT happened, then

2) HOW it happened (e.g., what weapon), then

3) WHO did it. And only then can we address

4) WHY they did it (i.e. motive).

Let us remember what is required to (legally) convict someone of a crime. You cannot convict someone of a crime based on belief. You cannot convict someone of a crime if you don’t even know what crime to charge them with. If you accuse someone of murder using a gun, you’d better be sure the body has a bullet hole in it. Yet, before noon on 9/11/01, we were told who did it, how they did it, and why they did it (they hate us for our freedoms); before any investigation had been conducted to determine what had even been done.

Many people have speculated as to who committed the crimes of 9/11 and/or how they did so. But without addressing what happened, speculation of this kind is nothing more than conspiracy theory. My research is not speculation. It is a forensic investigation of what happened to the WTC complex on 9/11.

How RFID Works

By now, you’ve almost certainly brushed up against Radio Frequency Identification — even if you’ve never heard the term RFID aloud.

RFID is one of the most quietly pervasive technologies on Earth. It hums beneath the surface of daily life, tracking products off shelves, cars through toll booths, badges through doors, animals in fields, and passports at borders. Like gravity, you rarely see it — yet it shapes the way goods, information, and movements flow around you every day.

Understanding how RFID works isn’t just “tech curiosity.” It’s learning how invisible systems gather and communicate data — sometimes with your knowledge, often without it.

Long checkout lines at the grocery store are one of the biggest complaints about the shopping experience. Soon, these lines could disappear when the ubiquitous Universal Product Code (UPC) bar code is replaced by smart labels, also called radio frequency identification (RFID) tags. RFID tags are intelligent bar codes that can talk to a networked system to track every product that you put in your shopping cart.

Imagine going to the grocery store, filling up your cart and walking right out the door. No longer will you have to wait as someone rings up each item in your cart one at a time. Instead, these RFID tags will communicate with an electronic reader that will detect every item in the cart and ring each up almost instantly. The reader will be connected to a large network that will send information on your products to the retailer and product manufacturers. Your bank will then be notified and the amount of the bill will be deducted from your account. No lines, no waiting.

RFID tags, a technology once limited to tracking cattle, are tracking consumer products worldwide. Many manufacturers use the tags to track the location of each product they make from the time it’s made until it’s pulled off the shelf and tossed in a shopping cart.

Outside the realm of retail merchandise, RFID tags are tracking vehicles, airline passengers, Alzheimer’s patients and pets. Soon, they may even track your preference for chunky or creamy peanut butter. Some critics say RFID technology is becoming too much a part of our lives -- that is, if we’re even aware of all the parts of our lives that it affects.

What RFID Really Is

At its heart, RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. It’s a technology that uses radio waves to automatically identify objects and relay data about them. Think of it as a kind of silent conversation happening between tiny tags and specialized readers.

Unlike barcodes, those visible black stripes on every product - RFID doesn’t need to be seen to be read. A barcode requires a scanner to “look” at it directly. RFID can transmit information even when it’s covered in packaging, hidden in material, or tucked inside an object. That’s the first clue into why RFID has become so widespread: it simply doesn’t require cooperation from us to function.

Reinventing the Bar Code

Almost everything that you buy from retailers has a UPC bar code printed on it. These bar codes help manufacturers and retailers keep track of inventory. They also give valuable information about the quantity of products being bought and, to some extent, the consumers buying them. These codes serve as product fingerprints made of machine-readable parallel bars that store binary code.

Created in the early 1970s to speed up the check out process, bar codes have a few disadvantages:

In order to keep up with inventories, companies must scan each bar code on every box of a particular product.
Going through the checkout line involves the same process of scanning each bar code on each item.
Bar code is a read-only technology, meaning that it cannot send out any information.

RFID tags are an improvement over bar codes because the tags have read and write capabilities. Data stored on RFID tags can be changed, updated and locked. Some stores that have begun using RFID tags have found that the technology offers a better way to track merchandise for stocking and marketing purposes. Through RFID tags, stores can see how quickly the products leave the shelves and which shoppers are buying them.

RFID tags won't entirely replace bar codes in the near future -- far too many retail outlets currently use UPC scanners in billions of transactions every year. But as time goes on we'll definitely see more products tagged with RFIDs and an increased focus on seamless wireless transactions like that rosy instant checkout picture painted in the introduction. In fact, the world is already moving toward using RFID technology in payments through special credit cards and smart phones -- we'll get into that later.

In addition to retail merchandise, RFID tags have also been added to transportation devices like highway toll passcards and subway passes. Because of their ability to store data so efficiently, RFID tags can tabulate the cost of tolls and fares and deduct the cost electronically from the amount of money that the user places on the card. Rather than waiting to pay a toll at a tollbooth or shelling out coins at a token counter, passengers use RFID chip-embedded passes like debit cards.

But would you entrust your medical history to an RFID tag? How about your home address or your baby’s safety? Let’s look at two types of RFID tags and how they store and transmit data before we move past grocery store purchases to human lives.

RFID Tags Past and Present

RFID technology has been around since 1970, but until recently, it has been too expensive to use on a large scale. Originally, RFID tags were used to track large items, like cows, railroad cars and airline luggage, that were shipped over long distances. These original tags, called inductively coupled RFID tags, were complex systems of metal coils, antennae and glass.

Inductively coupled RFID tags were powered by a magnetic field generated by the RFID reader. Electrical current has an electrical component and a magnetic component -- it is electromagnetic. Because of this, you can create a magnetic field with electricity, and you can create electrical current with a magnetic field. The name “inductively coupled” comes from this process -- the magnetic field inducts a current in the wire.

Capacitively coupled tags were created next in an attempt to lower the technology's cost. These were meant to be disposable tags that could be applied to less expensive merchandise and made as universal as bar codes. Capacitively coupled tags used conductive carbon ink instead of metal coils to transmit data. The ink was printed on paper labels and scanned by readers. Motorola's BiStatix RFID tags were the frontrunners in this technology. They used a silicon chip that was only 3millimeters wide and stored 96 bits of information. This technology didn't catch on with retailers, and BiStatix was shut down in 2001.

Newer innovations in the RFID industry include active, semi-active and passive RFID tags. These tags can store up to 2 kilobytes of data and are composed of a microchip, antenna and, in the case of active and semi-passive tags, a battery. The tag's components are enclosed within plastic, silicon or sometimes glass.

At a basic level, each tag works in the same way:

Data stored within an RFID tag’s microchip waits to be read.
The tag’s antenna receives electromagnetic energy from an RFID reader’s antenna.
Using power from its internal battery or power harvested from the reader’s electromagnetic field, the tag sends radio waves back to the reader.
The reader picks up the tag’s radio waves and interprets the frequencies as meaningful data.

Inductively coupled and capacitively coupled RFID tags aren’t used as commonly today because they are expensive and bulky. In the next section, we’ll learn more about active, semi-passive and passive RFID tags.

Active, Semi-passive and Passive RFID Tags

Active, semi-passive and passive RFID tags are making RFID technology more accessible and prominent in our world. These tags are less expensive to produce, and they can be made small enough to fit on almost any product.

Active and semi-passive RFID tags use internal batteries to power their circuits. An active tag also uses its battery to broadcast radio waves to a reader, whereas a semi-passive tag relies on the reader to supply its power for broadcasting. Because these tags contain more hardware than passive RFID tags, they are more expensive. Active and semi-passive tags are reserved for costly items that are read over greater distances -- they broadcast high frequencies from 850 to 950 MHz that can be read 100 feet (30.5 meters) or more away. If it is necessary to read the tags from even farther away, additional batteries can boost a tag’s range to over 300 feet (100 meters).

Like other wireless devices, RFID tags broadcast over a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. The exact frequency is variable and can be chosen to avoid interference with other electronics or among RFID tags and readers in the form of tag interference or reader interference. RFID systems can use a cellular system called Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) to make sure the wireless communication is handled properly.

Passive RFID tags rely entirely on the reader as their power source. These tags are read up to 20 feet (six meters) away, and they have lower production costs, meaning that they can be applied to less expensive merchandise. These tags are manufactured to be disposable, along with the disposable consumer goods on which they are placed. Whereas a railway car would have an active RFID tag, a bottle of shampoo would have a passive tag.

Another factor that influences the cost of RFID tags is data storage. There are three storage types: read-write, read-only and WORM (write once, read many). A read-write tag's data can be added to or overwritten. Read-only tags cannot be added to or overwritten -- they contain only the data that is stored in them when they were made. WORM tags can have additional data (like another serial number) added once, but they cannot be overwritten.

Most passive RFID tags cost between seven and 20 cents U.S. each. Active and semi-passive tags are more expensive, and RFID manufacturers typically do not quote prices for these tags without first determining their range, storage type and quantity. The RFID industry’s goal is to get the cost of a passive RFID tag down to five cents each once more merchandisers adopt it.

In the next section, we’ll learn how this technology could be used to create a global system of RFID tags that link to the Internet.

Talking Tags

When the RFID industry is able to lower the price of tags, it will lead to a ubiquitous network of smart packages that track every phase of the supply chain. Store shelves will be full of smart-labeled products that can be tracked from purchase to trash can. The shelves themselves will communicate wirelessly with the network. The tags will be just one component of this large product-tracking network.

The other two pieces to this network will be the readers that communicate with the tags and the Internet, which will provide communications lines for the network.

Let’s look at a real-world scenario of this system:

At the grocery store, you buy a carton of milk. The milk containers will have an RFID tag that stores the milk’s expiration date and price. When you lift the milk from the shelf, the shelf may display the milk’s specific expiration date, or the information could be wirelessly sent to your personal digital assistant or cell phone.
As you exit the store, you pass through doors with an embedded tag reader. This reader tabulates the cost of all the items in your shopping cart and sends the grocery bill to your bank, which deducts the amount from your account. Product manufacturers know that you’ve bought their product, and the store’s computers know exactly how many of each product need to be reordered.
Once you get home, you put your milk in the refrigerator, which is also equipped with a tag reader. This smart refrigerator is capable of tracking all of the groceries stored in it. It can track the foods you use and how often you restock your refrigerator, and can let you know when that milk and other foods spoil.
Products are also tracked when they are thrown into a trash can or recycle bin. At this point, your refrigerator could add milk to your grocery list, or you could program the fridge to order these items automatically.
Based on the products you buy, your grocery store gets to know your unique preferences. Instead of receiving generic newsletters with weekly grocery specials, you might receive one created just for you. If you have two school-age children and a puppy, your grocery store can use customer-specific marketing by sending you coupons for items like juice boxes and dog food.

In order for this system to work, each product will be given a unique product number. MIT’s Auto-ID Center is working on an Electronic Product Code (EPC) identifier that could replace the UPC. Every smart label could contain 96 bits of information, including the product manufacturer, product name and a 40-bit serial number. Using this system, a smart label would communicate with a network called the Object Naming Service. This database would retrieve information about a product and then direct information to the manufacturer’s computers.

The information stored on the smart labels would be written in a Product Markup Language (PML), which is based on the eXtensible Markup Language (XML). PML would allow all computers to communicate with any computer system similar to the way that Web servers read Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), the common language used to create Web pages.

We're not at this point yet, but RFID tags are more prominent in your life than you may realize. Wal-Mart and Best Buy are just two major merchandisers that use RFID tags for stocking and marketing purposes. Automated systems called intelligent software agents manage all the data coming in and going out from RFID tags and will carry out a specific course of action like sorting items.

The United States retail market is on the cusp of embracing a major implementation of RFID technology through payment systems that use Near Field Communication. These are the credit cards of the future.

Near Field Communication, Smart Phones and RFID

Near Field Communication (NFC) is often presented as a modern convenience, but in reality it is simply a close-range extension of RFID technology, built on the same principle of wireless identification through radio waves. By intentionally limiting the communication distance to just a few centimeters, NFC creates the sense that actions only occur through deliberate user intent, which is why it was deemed suitable for smartphones. Today’s phones act as both RFID readers and tags, enabling contactless payments, transit access, digital IDs, and secure authentication with a simple tap. What appears effortless on the surface is actually a rapid exchange of credentials, verification requests, and system decisions happening invisibly in the background. RFID did not disappear when it entered smartphones — it became normalized. Once embedded in personal devices we carry everywhere, RFID stopped feeling like infrastructure and started feeling like convenience, quietly shifting how identity, access, and authorization are handled in everyday life.

Government-Issued RFIDs

Government-issued RFID systems are typically introduced under familiar goals: efficiency, security, and standardization. They appear in passports, national ID cards, border documents, access badges, and transportation systems, where RFID chips allow identities to be verified quickly and without direct contact. Instead of relying on visual inspection alone, these documents can transmit encoded data to authorized readers in seconds, reducing delays and human error.

The e-passport will help improve security, but with so much personal information embedded in the document, there have been many concerns raised about the e-passport’s potential for identity theft. Two possible forms of identity theft that could occur with e-passports are:

Skimming: when someone uses an RFID reader to scan data from an RFID chip without the e-passport holder’s knowledge.
Eavesdropping: when someone reads the frequencies emitted from the RFID chip as it is scanned by an official reader.

Animal and Human Chipping

"And so they want a one world government, controlled by them, everybody being chipped, all your money in those chips, and they control the chips—and you become a slave, you become a serf to these people. That's their goal, that's their intention."

Animal chipping is nothing new -- farmers have been tracking livestock for years using RFID technology. But companies are turning animal chipping for pets into big business, and some companies are offering options for human chipping.

Even though the FDA approved the implantation of RFID microchips in animals and humans in 2004, research from as far back as 1996 shows that these implants can cause cancerous tumors in lab rats and mice [source: Washington Post]. Specifically, the implants caused sarcomas, which affect body tissue.

RFID Criticism

1. Privacy Invasion and Surveillance Risks

RFID tags can be embedded in everyday items like clothing, passports, or credit cards, allowing for passive tracking without user consent. Unlike barcodes, RFID doesn’t require line-of-sight scanning; tags can be read from a distance (up to several meters for some types), enabling unauthorized entities—such as governments, corporations, or hackers—to monitor individuals’ movements, purchases, and behaviors. This has led to fears of a “surveillance state,” where personal data is collected en masse, potentially violating civil liberties. For instance, in supply chain applications, RFID can track consumer habits long after purchase, creating detailed profiles sold to advertisers or used for discriminatory purposes.

2. Security Vulnerabilities and Hacking

RFID systems are prone to exploitation due to weak encryption in many low-cost tags. Hackers can use inexpensive readers to skim data, clone tags, or launch replay attacks, leading to identity theft or fraud. High-profile incidents include cloned RFID-enabled credit cards for unauthorized transactions or tampered access control systems in buildings. Unlike more secure technologies like biometrics, RFID lacks inherent safeguards against eavesdropping, making it a target for cybercriminals. As IoT devices increasingly integrate RFID, these vulnerabilities could cascade into larger network breaches, compromising entire systems.

3. Health and Environmental Concerns

Exposure to radiofrequency radiation from RFID readers and tags has sparked debates about potential health risks, including links to cancer or neurological effects.

Human chipping has seemingly higher stakes than merchandise tagging, and RFID critics are concerned that human chipping may one day become mandatory. When the company CityWatcher.com chipped two of its employees in 2006, these fears spun out of control. CityWatcher.com insisted that the employees were not forced to be chipped -- they volunteered for the microchip implants for easier access to secured vaults where confidential documents are stored. Other employees declined the implants.

While we can choose whether or not to put RFID chips in ourselves or our pets, we have little control over tags being placed on commercial products that we buy. In the book "Spychips: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID," Katherine Albrecht and Liz McIntyre describe the most extreme implications of RFID tags. They describe how RFID tags could be used to gauge your spending habits and bank account to determine how much you should be charged for the products you buy. This may sound paranoid, but hackers have proven that some RFID tags can be tampered with, including disabling their anti-theft features and changing the price that corresponds to their product.

In October 2007, California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill making it unlawful for any employer to force an employee to be chipped.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Congressman Eric Burlison (R-MO) have introduced the Auto Data Privacy and Autonomy Act to combat what privacy advocates describe as one of the most egregious privacy violations affecting American consumers today.

The Scale of Automotive Surveillance

If you’ve purchased a vehicle in the past five years, it’s collecting far more data than you realize. Connected vehicles now represent a $750 billion market opportunity for data brokers, insurance companies, and manufacturers. By 2030, over 95% of passenger cars sold will have embedded internet connectivity, creating an unprecedented surveillance infrastructure on American roads.

The data harvesting is extensive and invasive:

Geolocation tracking: Your exact location, sometimes collected every three seconds
Driving behavior: Every instance of hard braking, acceleration, sharp turns, and speeding
Temporal patterns: Late-night driving, rush hour commutes, and trip frequencies
Personal habits: Radio stations, climate control preferences, and voice recordings
Biometric data: In some vehicles, driver attention monitoring and facial recognition

According to Mozilla Foundation's analysis of major automakers, modern cars rank as "the worst product category" they've ever reviewed for privacy protection. Their research found that 84% of automakers share or sell personal data, and 56% share data with government agencies or law enforcement upon request. The vulnerability of this data extends beyond privacy violations—automotive manufacturers have suffered devastating cybersecurity breaches that exposed millions of customer records, demonstrating that vehicle data isn't just being sold, it's also being stolen by ransomware groups.

The GM OnStar Scandal: A Wake-Up Call

The issue exploded into public consciousness in March 2024 when a New York Times investigation revealed that General Motors had been secretly collecting and selling driving data from millions of customers through its OnStar Smart Driver program. The Federal Trade Commission’s subsequent investigation found that GM collected precise geolocation and driving behavior data from customers and sold it to data brokers LexisNexis and Verisk, who compiled “driver risk scores” for insurance companies.

The consequences were severe. Insurance companies used these scores to deny coverage, cancel policies, and raise premiums—often without drivers understanding why their rates had increased. One customer told GM: “When I signed up for this, it was so OnStar could track me. They said nothing about reporting it to a third party. You guys are affecting our bottom line.”

In January 2025, the FTC reached a settlement with GM and OnStar, banning them from selling driver data to consumer reporting agencies for five years and requiring them to delete previously collected information. However, this settlement only addresses one manufacturer and doesn’t prevent future violations once the ban expires.

The Texas Attorney General also filed suit against GM in August 2024, alleging the company unlawfully collected and sold private driving data from 1.8 million Texas residents. According to the complaint, GM allegedly pressured drivers into enrolling by threatening to disable safety features if they didn’t sign up for data collection programs.

What Carmakers Know About You

Data collection by automotive manufacturers extends far beyond simple GPS tracking:

Location and Movement Data

Manufacturers can track every trip you take, creating detailed profiles of your daily routines. This includes visits to medical facilities, religious institutions, political events, and other sensitive locations. One investigation found that nearly 400 Oregon residents who requested lists of companies receiving their data received zero responses from automakers—despite state privacy laws requiring disclosure.

Behavioral Profiling

Automakers compile comprehensive behavioral profiles including:

Acceleration and braking patterns that indicate “aggressive” driving
Speed violations and traffic law compliance
Seat belt usage and safety compliance
Night driving frequency
Vehicle loading patterns that suggest family size

Financial and Insurance Implications

I had one of the best weekends I can remember since the last couple of years. On Saturday at around 11am, I decided to go off social media completely. Of course, I continued to stay active on Substack and email (maybe I checked that once or twice in 26 hours), but was off Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms totally.

For the longest time, I have been encouraging my subscribers to go off social media after evening to see an improvement in their sleep, which obviously worked very well. However, I have been stopping myself from doing this because of a mindset and belief that social media was my need. I had to be available to answer questions, write, post notes etc. Nonetheless, I went ahead and fasted from social media for exactly 26 hours. I cannot tell you how amazing this fast has been for me.

It’s so important to understand that social media is robbing everything away from us – time, health, peace, sleep, self-esteem, confidence, sense of security – everything. It’s a boon too! I can use it to influence masses, help people and I am extremely grateful for that. So, its all about using it the right way – either to influence people or to destroy your life. Just like we have good food and too much good food or good health and too much obsession about health. Excess of anything is what becomes dangerous for our health.

Here are a couple of personal things I want to share that I learned during this 26-hour social media fast.

1. I Understood What Social Media Does to us – Comparisons

The first thing I notice in adults and teenagers who are experiencing depression or anxiety is how much time they spend on social media and video games. It’s not surprising to know that these people who are in a bad space emotionally spend a lot of time on social media too. Social media makes us subconsciously compare ourselves with others – our thoughts, bodies, how much we have, holidays, dressing sense and so much more. Our minds have been designed to compare, no matter how much yoga, pranayama and chanting you do.

Remember how you used to compare your marks with others when results used to be displayed in school? Everything is unfortunately a comparison – because we want to do better than our friend, colleague or neighbour. The more time you spend on social media, the more you spend time seeing other people’s lives and the more you start comparing, making your own life miserable, leading to issues of insecurity. Insecurity doesn’t mean you have less. In fact, the wealthiest people still have feelings of insecurity. Here insecurity means a constant comparison of every aspect of your life, status, finances, and your physical appearance with other people leading to a feeling of insecurity because there is a limit to what money can buy. Money cannot buy class. The richest can be arrogant and misbehaved too.

So, in a nutshell, social media makes us compare which makes it an extremely dangerous activity for young girls, teens and even middle aged women because they are constantly comparing themselves with an actor/model who they don’t even know may have even got a cosmetic surgery, photoshopping or airbrushing done to look that way. And that’s how body shaming and feeling insecure about their appearances crop up. They think they aren’t doing enough – diet, lifestyle and begin punishing their body with fad diets and exercise programs.

Social media here robs us of common sense, logical thinking and wisdom of intuition. Social media weakens our intuitive skills – the inner voice that guides us to do the right things.

2. Social Media Robs Our Identity

A constant exposure to social media robs us of our own identity. It blinds us of our own likes and dislikes just because we want to do what others are doing. It makes us do things we don’t like just so we fit in. For e.g., the current “Game of Thrones” rage. No disrespect to those who like it, but if you are the one who doesn’t watch it, you are looked upon as if it’s a crime not watching the series and then you are forced to watch it.

3. We Tend to Seek Approval and Validation Through Social Media

It’s a human tendency to want to know that we are doing well. Each of us craves for appreciation and compliments like you have lost weight, your skin is glowing, etc. While there is nothing wrong with that, we want to get it from real people. People wait for likes or dislikes on their videos or pictures. Let it not be that way because if you are attached to that validation, it can hurt you.

On a personal note, I have come across instances of trolls or people putting negative comments- which should actually affect me because here I am with an intention of sharing information and there are people wanting to pull you down. But realise, you do not need validation from them. Let people come up personally and say what they do not like about you and appreciate and accept that. This is the kind of validation or approval we need from close and true friends, family, well-wishers who truly care for you.

4. Information Overexposure

Information does not equal knowledge and knowledge does not equal wisdom. The more information you get, the more gossip you get. The more you see, the more the human mind starts judging. When we spend a lot of time on social media – our talks and discussions start revolving around that too – who wore what at an award festival, who is getting divorced, who is dating whom, who won the court case. All of this, in turn, fuels more judging. When we judge, we also begin gossiping and spreading rumours, which depletes us of the very energy that can be used in healing, boosting immunity and helping us evolve.

Choosing the right company and set of friends is so important. Choose groups that discuss ideas and concepts and not people. Your company moulds how you feel about yourself.

5. The Importance of Connect With Real People and Not Virtual

Reconnect with live people and not virtual people who don’t like us but on social media show that they do. An emoji or a smiley makes you feel really happy – but a real smile from a real person? It’s priceless and can change everything. An emoji or smiley is not a bad thing to look out for, but if it’s consuming you, you need to draw a line there. How would you know it’s consuming you?

Do exactly what I did. Get off social media for a minimum of 24 hours and notice yourself feeling ecstatic because it really improves your sleep.

My Experience in a Nutshell

For me, I don’t know if it worked as a placebo as I usually sleep really well, but last night my sleep was very deep. I woke up completely refreshed. My energy levels were high the next day. Stress levels were completely low. Till 12 noon, I didn’t even look at social media. I used Substack and email because it’s my responsibility. Since I had more free time, I had a chance to sit down and introspect on all of my achievements in the last 3-4 years. I felt content, whereas social media always keeps you in a competitive mode. It makes you want to do more and more and never feel content because we see people around us achieving more and doing more. I felt content in every aspect of my life and that I can take it easy. I felt I can now focus on only what I need because I am content with everything else that I have.

Really, going off social media gives so much free time to introspect into our lives, to be in silence and understand and measure what’s going on in our lives at this point. The beauty is that you gain time. Time is the most priceless commodity on this planet. We can make and lose and again make wealth, but we can never get the time that we spent back. The people who value their time and who attach value to it are the people who are wise because you will never get that time. Be aware of people who waste your time, get you into unnecessary meetings and confrontations because you will never get that time again. The time you spend with your parents, loved ones, children, and yourself is precious and will never come back. I have been way happier in the last 24 hours than I have ever been in the last couple of months and years. One needs maturity and wisdom to decide where you want to spend your time.

I value my time. If you value your time, it’s very important for you to decide where you put that time. If there’s a social party that you are going to and if it seems like even a little bit of a waste of time, don’t go because that time will never come back again.

So, I challenge yourself for a complete social media fast on Sundays to begin with. You can use that time to do everything else but not social media. You can choose to still use messenger app or emails or can go off it completely too. Shut down social media by about 7 pm on Saturday evening and continue all through Sunday. You are free to choose the number of hours you want to stay off it. I suggest 24 hours because I want you to experience the magic behind this. If you can stay away from all sorts of electronic gadgets – great! If you can’t do it for 24 hours, do it for 18 hours. If you can’t do it for 18 hours, do it for 16 hours or 12 hours, but start and then slowly start increasing the time. Sundays can be a complete social media fast day. You can still click pictures and upload them later. You don’t have to do it right at that point.

If you want sweetness without the self-destruction, choose nature’s own sources — raw honey, dates or coconut sugar. When sweetness comes from nature instead of a factory, your body knows how to handle it.

2. Drink in moderation! Alcohol is a drug that can inflict substantial health and social harm. Because it is socially accepted, its dangers are often silently tolerated. If your health matters to you, it’s crucial to set personal limits!

By using fear of cyber attacks on any single institution, big Gov and financial institutions want everyone to believe that consolidating all data and assets of a person’s life into tokens under a Digital ID will somehow protect them from attacks by having everything in one location.

Though many are under the impression that the battle is against the ushering in of CBDCs, it would seem that all of the appropriate financial rails and interoperability are already in place, or darn close to it, to expand on the mountain of identity verification processes already dialed in, to initiate the all-in-one Digital Identity and lock those dominoes into place.

This digital world they intend to manifest is being fashioned to look like a convenient and necessary way everyone must live, and as they build these “rails” of prison cells, consumers are sinking further into debt and relying more and more on credit cards.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York issued a report noting that credit card balances in Q4 of 2024 increased by $45 billion to a record high of $1.21 trillion, while also reporting elevated delinquencies. Total household debt also rose by $93 billion, reaching $18.04 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Visa and Mastercard are at the forefront of this takeover and if they succeed, the monitoring, tracking, and control will be immeasurable and there will be no going back. Consumers need to think twice before using credit cards and use cash as often as possible, while state legislators need to get on board with implementing creative legislation with independent systems that not only provide protection for the citizens of their state, but build strong financial freedom with the ability to operate utilizing cash, precious metals, and unique structures as pointed out in this article.

Brief History of Visa & Mastercard

Visa

The first major credit cards emerged from the 50s to mid-60s. Bank of America issued the first consumer credit card with revolving credit in California in 1958, expanding their network through licensing agreements with banks throughout the nation by 1966. The network spread out internationally by 1974, prompting a rebranding in 1976 of the BankAmericard to Visa, an internationally recognized term that conveys universal acceptance.

By 2007, several regional Visa businesses from around the globe merged to form Visa Inc., and the following year, on March 18, 2008, the corporation went public. Visa’s initial public offering (IPO) sold 406 million shares at $44 per share totaling $17.9 billion, one of the largest in U.S. history. Then on March 20, 2008, the underwriters of the IPO, which included JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citi, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, UBS Investment Bank and Wachovia Securities, exercised their over-allotment option by purchasing an added 40.6 million shares, raising the overall IPO shares to 446.6 million for a total of $19.1 billion.

Their Board of Directors includes current and former CEOs, CFOs, and COOs of Carney Global Ventures, Rite Aid Corporation, PepsiCo, Gap, Stanley Black & Decker, Visa, and The Clorox Company.

Over the decades, Visa has faced a myriad of legal actions and disputes concerning anticompetitive practices and high fees. As recently as 2019, a settlement of $5.5 billion was reached in a class-action lawsuit by merchants alleging that Visa and Mastercard engaged in price-fixing practices with regards to swipe fees charged to merchants and the credit card networks unfairly interfered when merchants encouraged less expensive forms of payment such as cash or checks. Additionally, the Department of Justice launched an antitrust probe against Visa in March of 2021. The investigation has remained ongoing according to Visa’s SEC filing in mid-2023.

These cases aren’t just isolated disputes — they reveal a consistent pattern: consolidation of financial power and resistance to any challenge that threatens that dominance. For decades, Visa has operated not merely as a payment processor but as a gatekeeper, dictating who gets to move money, how it moves, and under what conditions. And now, as the conversation shifts toward Digital IDs and programmable money, Visa stands at the center once again — the same network that built the rails for global commerce may soon become the rails for global control.

Mastercard

Competitors to Visa arose in 1966 to form the Interbank Card Association (ICA), which later became Mastercard International. The original bank members were United California Bank, Wells Fargo, Crocker National Bank and Bank of California. The group introduced the Master Charge card which ultimately became known as Mastercard in 1979.

The ICA expanded their network globally, merging with Europay International in 2002 and then converting from a membership association into a private share corporation in preparation for their initial public offering that commenced in 2006. The IPO of 61.5 million shares, priced at $39 per share, raised $2.4 billion. Goldman Sachs coordinated a group of four joint book-runners that included Citigroup, HSBC, and JPMorgan. Co-managing underwriters included Bear Stearns, Cowen and Company, Deutsche Bank, Harris Nesbitt, KeyBanc Capital Markets, and Santander Investment.

Their Board of Directors is made up of current and former CEOs as well as other high level positions from US Bancorp, The Carlyle Group, Mastercard, Verizon, Goldman Sachs, and BeyondNetZero.

Similar to Visa, Mastercard has been plagued by a number of scandals and legal actions over the years. A 2018 report noted that Mastercard brokered a secret multimillion dollar deal with Google to share credit card data for targeted advertising purposes. Then in 2019, as mentioned above, Mastercard and Visa settled a class-action suit worth $5.5 billion for anticompetitive practices. Furthermore, an SEC filing disclosed that, like Visa, the Department of Justice Antitrust Division initiated an investigation into Mastercard in March of 2023.

Currently, Vanguard, BlackRock, and State Street are the top three shareholders of both Visa and Mastercard.

Visa

In 2019, Visa launched B2B Connect, which is a platform that uses blockchain to offer financial institutions a streamlined cross-border payment process. The Visa B2B Connect network is designed to offer digital identity solutions and a “centralized system of record for each and every payment.”
Visa has filed around 44 blockchain-related patents in the United States and roughly 20 additional patent families internationally, many centered around biometric identity tracking, programmable money, and digital asset control systems.
These filings are not about user convenience — they outline the technical foundations for a world where every transaction and identity verification step can be monitored, approved, or denied by design.
Examples include:
- WO2018222211A1 – “Secure Biometric Authentication Using Electronic Identity”: describes a system that binds an individual’s biometric data — fingerprints, facial recognition, or other identifiers — directly to digital identity profiles on a blockchain, ensuring that every interaction in the financial system is traceable and tied to a verified body.
- US20220052852A1 – “Secure Biometric Authentication Using Electronic Identity”: expands the same concept by allowing verification through distributed ledgers, effectively removing anonymity from transactions under the banner of “security.”
- US20210353699A1 – “Digital Currency for Interoperable Blockchain Networks”: sketches the infrastructure for linking central-bank digital currencies, stablecoins, and private tokens — a unified web where all forms of money become programmable and centrally observed.
- US20220031643A1 – “Digital Asset Tokenization and Settlement System”: outlines how real-world assets — property, savings, even vehicles — could be turned into digital tokens and settled on corporate-controlled blockchain rails, tightening control over ownership and access.
Taken together, these patents reveal a coordinated move toward programmable financial identity, not freedom or privacy. Behind the technical language lies a vision of total visibility and conditional permission — the architecture of a financial surveillance grid disguised as innovation.
In 2020, Visa filed for a patent to create a digital currency using blockchain, which is designed to replace cash. They aim to act as a central entity computer which creates a digital currency by using a serial number and denomination of physical currency. The patent applies to all digital currencies including: Ethereum, CBDCs, pounds, yen, and euros.
Visa also partnered with Ethereum in 2020 to connect its payment network of 60 million merchants to the U.S. Dollar Coin (USDC) developed by Circle Internet Financial.
In September of 2020, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, introduced a Visa debit card which automatically converted users’ crypto assets into local currency. Since August of 2023, both Visa and Mastercard stepped back from their partnerships with Binance to offer crypto debit cards amid regulatory scrutiny.
In May of 2021, Visa announced the expansion of their Fintech Partner Connect program, matching banks that issue Visa cards with fintech companies that offer digital tools to enable their seamless transition toward “the ultimate goal of accelerating adoption of digital-first innovations” which incorporates digital identity verification. Their fintech partners include: Entrust, Alloy, Global Data Consortium, Idemia, Jumio, Neuro-ID, and Onfido (each outlined in more detail below.)
Visa’s fintech partner, Alloy, is a “global end-to-end identity risk solution” for banks that “enables instant digital identity verification and document verification.”
Global Data Consortium, which was acquired by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in April of 2022, is another Visa fintech partner. The acquisition by LSEG was specifically designed to “expand its global range of digital identity solutions.” LSEG offers global identity verification supported by biometric and document verification.
Another Visa fintech partner, Idemia, is a “world leader in biometrics” that provides governments with IDway, which is a “suite of digital identity solutions,” that incorporate several components into a unified system. These components, which include civil registries, ID cards, passports, and welfare registries, work together “as a unified system solution to efficiently manage the identities of a country’s population.”
Jumio is yet another Visa fintech partner that claims to be “the leader in online identity verification” and “way ahead of the game in digital identity as well.” Jumio offers solutions to enable their customers to “issue and verify digital identities from trusted sources,” which include smart wallets.
Visa is also partnered with the fintech company, Neuro-ID, a pioneer “in the field of behavioral analytics,” which launched “breakthrough digital identity products” in February of 2022 that incorporate behavioral data.
Onfido, an additional Visa fintech partner, offers a “Real Identity Platform” for digital identity verification powered by AI, which incorporates both biometric and document verifications.
In January of 2022, Visa partnered with the blockchain technology company ConsenSys to offer central banks a platform to test Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and Visa products. The platform can enable a system “for central banks to issue and distribute CBDC.”
In December of 2023, Visa partnered with TECH5, an “innovator in the field of biometrics and digital identity management,” to implement a “digital ID-based payment infrastructure and services on a national level.”
On February 19, 2024, Capital One, a major issuer of both Visa and Mastercard, announced it would acquire Discover in an all-stock deal worth $35.3 billion. If this deal goes through it would make it the largest card issuer when measuring outstanding card loans.
Visa is at the forefront of what they call “the token transformation,” offering “diverse tokenization technologies,” to merchants, regional networks, banks and central banks to “build, manage and control their own tokenization capabilities.” The goal to tokenize all assets, information and people into one global unified ledger is one that the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has been looking at closely, as evidenced by their 2023 report entitled, “Blueprint for the future monetary system: improving the old, enabling the new.” CBDCs would be “core to the functioning” of this tokenized digital space, serving as the reserve currency on the unified ledger.

Mastercard

The current president of the World Bank is Ajay Banga, the former CEO of Mastercard. During his tenure at Mastercard, Banga oversaw what the company itself described as a “strategic, technological, and cultural transformation.” Under his leadership, Mastercard expanded its reach into digital identity systems, financial inclusion initiatives, and partnerships with governments and global institutions—the very framework now aligning with the World Bank’s digital ID and “financial inclusion” agenda.
Mastercard markets the safety and convenience features of a range of Digital Identity Services they offer, which includes their digital ID network, for access to “everything from financial and government services, to healthcare, education, travel, shopping,” and more in what they describe as the “digital transformation.” They have published a number of white papers outlining a variety of use cases for their digital identity services on their site.
Mastercard and PayPal have a global strategic partnership, providing several services to PayPal users, while PayPal is one of the frontrunners to move the needle on digital IDs considering they are the largest digital wallet company with 44% of Americans using their services.
In 2016, Mastercard and Visa were both part of the multi-stakeholder workshop for the World Economic Forum’s “A Blueprint for Digital Identity: The Role of Financial Institutions in Building The Digital Identity.” On page 41 they describe “identity” as “a collection of pieces of information that describe an entity” such as “age, height, date of birth, fingerprints, health records, preferences and behaviors, telephone metadata, national identifier number, telephone number, email addresses, and assets,” for starters. On page 95 they explain how new capabilities for financial institutions would include: digital identity attributes tied to payment tokens, digital tax filing, and tracking total asset rehypothecation. Mastercard and Visa are both “strategic partners” of the WEF.
In 2018, Mastercard served as one of twenty experts on the UN’s “high-level panel on digital cooperation,’ co-chaired by Melinda Gates and Jack Ma, which produced the report titled “The Age of Digital Interdependence.” The report states that “The immense power and value of data in the modern economy can and must be harnessed to meet the SDGs” (UN sustainable development goals). On page 10 of the report it states “McKinsey & Company studied seven large countries and concluded that digital ID systems could add between 3 and 13% to their gross domestic product.”
In December, 2018, Mastercard partnered with Gavi with the purpose of “efficiently delivering vaccines to millions of children, tracking identity and immunisation records in a digitised manner and incentivising the delivery of vaccines,” by deploying the Mastercard Wellness Pass chip card to those in various countries. It utilizes tokenized biometrics to “adhere to vaccination cycles.”
In March of 2019, Mastercard introduced their new framework for the evolution of digital identities, with their platform operating at the center. Mastercard’s framework envisions their role as a central coordinator bringing together “stakeholders” including banks, governments, and individuals to issue and verify digital identities as a condition for accessing goods and services. In their report, Mastercard says, “we are uniquely positioned as a user champion for digital identity,” considering their “experience in governance and operating networks,” as well as their focus on financial inclusion, data privacy, and investments in a “global infrastructure.” Mastercard says they “will facilitate the service platform and network,” which incorporates “core technologies” such as blockchain and biometrics.
Mastercard representatives contributed to the World Economic Forum’s January 2020 report entitled “Reimagining Digital Identity: A Strategic Imperative,” in which digital identities are central for access to healthcare, financial services, food, travel, humanitarian aid, online activity, government services, phone services, and smart cities.
In September of 2020, Mastercard announced the launch of their CBDCs testing platform for central banks to simulate the “issuance, distribution and exchange of CBDCs between banks, financial service providers and consumers.”
Mastercard collaborated with the Good Health Pass initiative to “develop a blueprint for organizations to adopt and implement” digital health credentials, otherwise known as Covid passports, in 2021.
In April of 2021, Mastercard acquired Ekata for $850 million for the purpose of advancing their digital identity efforts “through AI-powered identity verification.” Ekata is described as a “global leader in digital identity verification solutions that provide businesses worldwide the ability to link any digital transaction to the human behind it.”
In June of 2021, Master card launched their E-Livestock digital ID for the cattle supply chain. Digital proof of provenance, which is essentially a digital ID for agricultural products and livestock, is becoming more common. The World Bank, which the former CEO of Mastercard now heads, promotes digital identities for farmers to receive financial assistance as well as to increase tracking of the food supply.
Mastercard’s President of Cyber & Intelligence, Ajay Bhalla, has said, “To truly make the digital world work for all, we must rethink traditional notions of digital identity and break down artificial barriers. We need a new model that starts with the commitment to the fundamental individual right – ‘I own my identity and I control my identity data.’ And we need businesses, governments, NGOs, and others to forge partnerships and invest resources in support of a common framework, principles, and standards.”
In April of 2023, Senior VP of Digital Identity at Mastercard, Sarah Clark, outlined Mastercard’s integral role in digital identities globally. She explained that countries are implementing “trust frameworks” to define the roles of digital identity networks like Mastercard’s. The networks then work to become “accredited” under the “trust framework.” Once “accredited,” Mastercard’s network would integrate with “government ecosystems when it comes to digital identities, digital credentials, as they are brought online.” Each country is unique in their “trust framework.” She said, “In the US it’s a state-based approach,” that is “tethered to the existing driver’s license ecosystem,” which Mastercard is looking “to plug into.” Clark added that government-issued digital identities would not be broadly accepted in some countries due to “the fear of government overreaching and tracking everything you do,” which is why Mastercard advocates for “strong public-private partnerships,” such as theirs, to accelerate public acceptance of digital IDs.
In August of 2023, Sarah Clark elaborated on Mastercard’s progress in the digital identity space, stating that they have been “on the leading edge of the paradigm shift that we can all see is happening today with respect to identity.” She noted that Mastercard’s digital ID network is live in two markets – Australia and Brazil. In Australia, legislation, regulations and the Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF) have paved the way for Mastercard’s digital identity network to be implemented. In June of 2022, Mastercard became the first private organization to receive accreditation under the TDIF. She added that Australia is a “template for other parts of the world” and that Mastercard’s digital identity network has “done pilot activities and prepared for launch in two other markets – the UK and the US.”

First, let me show you some glimpses of fake news, and then I will explain 10 Fake News Tactics to give you a proper understanding.

1. They write an article purely about data, throw out large numbers to scare you, but won’t give you the minuscule percentage it equates to because they know most people won’t bother to do the math. So instead, all people see is that big number. Then, they take an aspect within the overall data topic, that equates to a much larger percentage, and push that to the forefront to stoke fear, so it’s the only percentage that sticks in ones mind. This is commonplace in fake news. Do the math yourself.

2. They write some dramatic piece to justify their narrative, throwing out numbers and percentages, then create a graph to reflect just how awful it appears to be. The only problem is, they only factored in about 2 out of 10 elements that would need to be taken into account to derive at the numbers they came to. They tell less than half the story, sum it up with a shocking visual, and people fall for it. Another thing they do with numbers is push a scare tactic with a global death rate attached to a year, but don’t mention it’s global, leading people to believe that is the death rate in the U.S. alone. They do this with the vaccine industry all the time. “Over 110,000 people died from the measles in 2017,” with a big fat zero in the U.S., but they fail to mention that part.

3. They scribble out a 2,000 word spin on a story, beginning with an intriguing detail and perhaps a fact or two. Once they grip your mind, they go in for the kill – filling it with a pumped up opinion made to look like facts, while not providing a shred of evidence. About 3/4 of the way down the article, they lay out that basically everything they just stated was bs, in one single sentence, that about 5% of people will ever reach.

4. The emotionally driven articles meant to fuel anger, hate, or fear, that are typically backed with a bunch of false or exaggerated statistics, piped full of bought-off scientific research, or a personal story from a paid actor.

5. “Our sources say” is no longer a good look. Nine times out of ten it’s either intentional leaked disinformation, someone with a grudge, or the sources are non-existent. Stick with journalists who provide evidence, unless you have followed a journalist’s track record long enough to know that if they occasionally have an anonymous “source” and you are able to connect additional dots with evidence, keep it in the plausibility compartment until more information comes out.

Gold and Economic Freedom

An almost hysterical antagonism toward the gold standard is one issue which unites statists of all persuasions. They seem to sense – perhaps more clearly and subtly than many consistent defenders of laissez-faire – that gold and economic freedom are inseparable, that the gold standard is an instrument of laissez-faire and that each implies and requires the other.

In order to understand the source of their antagonism, it is necessary first to understand the specific role of gold in a free society.

Money is the common denominator of all economic transactions. It is that commodity which serves as a medium of exchange, is universally acceptable to all participants in an exchange economy as payment for their goods or services, and can, therefore, be used as a standard of market value and as a store of value, i.e., as a means of saving.

The existence of such a commodity is a precondition of a division of labor economy. If men did not have some commodity of objective value which was generally acceptable as money, they would have to resort to primitive barter or be forced to live on self-sufficient farms and forgo the inestimable advantages of specialization. If men had no means to store value, i.e., to save, neither long-range planning nor exchange would be possible.

What medium of exchange will be acceptable to all participants in an economy is not determined arbitrarily. First, the medium of exchange should be durable. In a primitive society of meager wealth, wheat might be sufficiently durable to serve as a medium, since all exchanges would occur only during and immediately after the harvest, leaving no value-surplus to store. But where store-of-value considerations are important, as they are in richer, more civilized societies, the medium of exchange must be a durable commodity, usually a metal. A metal is generally chosen because it is homogeneous and divisible: every unit is the same as every other and it can be blended or formed in any quantity.

Precious jewels, for example, are neither homogeneous nor divisible. More important, the commodity chosen as a medium must be a luxury. Human desires for luxuries are unlimited and, therefore, luxury goods are always in demand and will always be acceptable. Wheat is a luxury in underfed civilizations, but not in a prosperous society. Cigarettes ordinarily would not serve as money, but they did in post-World War II Europe where they were considered a luxury. The term "luxury good" implies scarcity and high unit value. Having a high unit value, such a good is easily portable; for instance, an ounce of gold is worth a half-ton of pig iron.

In the early stages of a developing money economy, several media of exchange might be used, since a wide variety of commodities would fulfill the foregoing conditions. However, one of the commodities will gradually displace all others, by being more widely acceptable. Preferences on what to hold as a store of value will shift to the most widely acceptable commodity, which, in turn, will make it still more acceptable. The shift is progressive until that commodity becomes the sole medium of exchange. The use of a single medium is highly advantageous for the same reasons that a money economy is superior to a barter economy: it makes exchanges possible on an incalculably wider scale.

Whether the single medium is gold, silver, seashells, cattle, or tobacco is optional, depending on the context and development of a given economy. In fact, all have been employed, at various times, as media of exchange. Even in the present century, two major commodities, gold and silver, have been used as international media of exchange, with gold becoming the predominant one. Gold, having both artistic and functional uses and being relatively scarce, has significant advantages over all other media of exchange.

Since the beginning of World War I, it has been virtually the sole international standard of exchange. If all goods and services were to be paid for in gold, large payments would be difficult to execute and this would tend to limit the extent of a society's divisions of labor and specialization. Thus a logical extension of the creation of a medium of exchange is the development of a banking system and credit instruments (bank notes and deposits) which act as a substitute for, but are convertible into, gold.

A free banking system based on gold is able to extend credit and thus to create bank notes (currency) and deposits, according to the production requirements of the economy. Individual owners of gold are induced, by payments of interest, to deposit their gold in a bank (against which they can draw checks). But since it is rarely the case that all depositors want to withdraw all their gold at the same time, the banker need keep only a fraction of his total deposits in gold as reserves. This enables the banker to loan out more than the amount of his gold deposits (which means that he holds claims to gold rather than gold as security of his deposits). But the amount of loans which he can afford to make is not arbitrary: he has to gauge it in relation to his reserves and to the status of his investments.

When banks loan money to finance productive and profitable endeavors, the loans are paid off rapidly and bank credit continues to be generally available. But when the business ventures financed by bank credit are less profitable and slow to pay off, bankers soon find that their loans outstanding are excessive relative to their gold reserves, and they begin to curtail new lending, usually by charging higher interest rates. This tends to restrict the financing of new ventures and requires the existing borrowers to improve their profitability before they can obtain credit for further expansion. Thus, under the gold standard, a free banking system stands as the protector of an economy's stability and balanced growth. When gold is accepted as the medium of exchange by most or all nations, an unhampered free international gold standard serves to foster a world-wide division of labor and the broadest international trade.

Even though the units of exchange (the dollar, the pound, the franc, etc.) differ from country to country, when all are defined in terms of gold the economies of the different countries act as one – so long as there are no restraints on trade or on the movement of capital. Credit, interest rates, and prices tend to follow similar patterns in all countries. For example, if banks in one country extend credit too liberally, interest rates in that country will tend to fall, inducing depositors to shift their gold to higher-interest paying banks in other countries. This will immediately cause a shortage of bank reserves in the "easy money" country, inducing tighter credit standards and a return to competitively higher interest rates again.

A fully free banking system and fully consistent gold standard have not as yet been achieved. But prior to World War I, the banking system in the United States (and in most of the world) was based on gold and even though governments intervened occasionally, banking was more free than controlled. Periodically, as a result of overly rapid credit expansion, banks became loaned up to the limit of their gold reserves, interest rates rose sharply, new credit was cut off, and the economy went into a sharp, but short-lived recession. (Compared with the depressions of 1920 and 1932, the pre-World War I business declines were mild indeed.) It was limited gold reserves that stopped the unbalanced expansions of business activity, before they could develop into the post-World War I type of disaster. The readjustment periods were short and the economies quickly reestablished a sound basis to resume expansion.

But the process of cure was misdiagnosed as the disease: if shortage of bank reserves was causing a business decline – argued economic interventionists – why not find a way of supplying increased reserves to the banks so they never need be short! If banks can continue to loan money indefinitely – it was claimed – there need never be any slumps in business. And so the Federal Reserve System was organized in 1913. It consisted of twelve regional Federal Reserve banks nominally owned by private bankers, but in fact government sponsored, controlled, and supported.

Credit extended by these banks is in practice (though not legally) backed by the taxing power of the federal government. Technically, we remained on the gold standard; individuals were still free to own gold, and gold continued to be used as bank reserves. But now, in addition to gold, credit extended by the Federal Reserve banks ("paper reserves") could serve as legal tender to pay depositors.

When business in the United States underwent a mild contraction in 1927, the Federal Reserve created more paper reserves in the hope of forestalling any possible bank reserve shortage. More disastrous, however, was the Federal Reserve's attempt to assist Great Britain who had been losing gold to us because the Bank of England refused to allow interest rates to rise when market forces dictated (it was politically unpalatable). The reasoning of the authorities involved was as follows: if the Federal Reserve pumped excessive paper reserves into American banks, interest rates in the United States would fall to a level comparable with those in Great Britain; this would act to stop Britain's gold loss and avoid the political embarrassment of having to raise interest rates.

The "Fed" succeeded; it stopped the gold loss, but it nearly destroyed the economies of the world, in the process. The excess credit which the Fed pumped into the economy spilled over into the stock market, triggering a fantastic speculative boom. I haven’t received a targeted ad on my computer or mobile phone since 2014. If you care about your privacy or the privacy of your children — or even if you’re just sick of being bombarded by ads for diet pills seconds after you send an email to a friend complaining that your pants are too tight — here are seven simple steps you can take to make your online presence more private:

1. ~~Jettison Gmail.~~ All Gmail emails, both incoming and outgoing — even the angry draft emails you decided not to send — are analyzed and stored permanently by Google LLC, with every snippet of information the company can extract from your emails added to the massive profile it has compiled about you — and to the profiles of every person you mention in your emails. I recommend using ProtonMail instead of Gmail. It’s based in Switzerland and subject to strict Swiss privacy laws. It takes only a few seconds to sign up, because the company doesn’t ask anything about you (imagine that!). The basic service is free, and the paid version is cheap. ProtonMail is easy to use, and it also uses end-to-end encryption for maximum privacy. Unfortunately, you might be using Gmail and not even know it. To save money, thousands of businesses, schools, and universities use Gmail under their own brands — even news services such as The Guardian, The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, Salon, and The Hill. To find out whether you have been unknowingly corresponding with someone through Google servers, open that person’s email and then find and click on the “view header” option in your email software. If you find “google.com” anywhere in the expanded header, Google has been monitoring all of your communications with that sender. Even if you switch to ProtonMail, you will still have no privacy when corresponding with someone using Gmail or hidden Google servers. I tell people whose emails are shared with Google that if they want to communicate with me, they will need to use a more secure email service, and they usually switch. Bear in mind that Gmail is nothing like the US Postal Service. Google has no legal obligation to deliver your mail, and it routinely diverts emails to people’s spam boxes, deletes emails, and even cuts people off from their Gmail accounts.

2. ~~Kill Chrome.~~ Google developed the Chrome browser because the massive amount of information they were collecting about you from their search engine (see below) and your emails wasn’t enough for them. With Chrome, they can see which web pages you visit — and what you do on those pages — even if you go to those pages directly rather than going through their search engine. If you value your privacy, never use Chrome, even in the bogus “incognito” mode, which still tracks you. Instead, use Brave which is what I use. Brave blocks all ads, is faster than Chrome, and was developed by the software engineer who built Firefox. And what about other browsers? As I reveal in “The New Censorship,” Google can still get information about you when you’re using Firefox, Safari, and most other browsers, because they all check Google’s “quarantine list” before they take you to a website. Go with Brave.

3. ~~Switch Search Engines.~~ Google’s search engine is the best because it indexes far more web pages than anyone else. But Google (the search engine) is also the most aggressive spying tool ever invented — funded from the outset by the NSA and the CIA to identify people who are a threat to national security. Google records every search you conduct, and your Google profile contains a complete history of every search you ever conducted — even those sketchy ones! Worse still, my research has shown in recent years that Google’s search engine is also the most powerful mind control device ever devised; it shifts the opinions of billions of people around the world every day without them knowing it. Instead of using Google.com, use the new Brave search engine (https://search.brave.com/) which you can make your default search engine once you switch to the Brave browser (see #2 above). The Brave search engine doesn’t track you. It gives you great search results while also preserving your privacy.

4. ~~Axe Android.~~ As I explain in “Google’s Gotcha,” even Chrome didn’t give Google enough information about you, so the company developed Android, an operating system for phones and other mobile devices — the equivalent of the Windows operating system that’s on most desktop computers. Chrome gives Google information about you only when you’re online, but because Android controls all your phone’s functions, it tracks you — the phone numbers you’re dialing, the music files you’re playing, the places you’re visiting—even when you’re offline. If you value your privacy, donate your Android phone to a charity (https://CellPhonesForSoldiers.com), and buy a phone from a company that doesn’t use Google’s deceptive business model. Phones from Apple and other companies protect your privacy, whereas Google phones or phones that use Google’s version of Android do not. You can also now buy a “degoogled” Android phone, which disables Google’s tracking (https://degoogled.com). Companies like Apple and Microsoft make most of their money by selling products, whereas surveillance companies like Google and Facebook make nearly all of their money by suckering you with “free” services they use to track you and your children and then charging businesses a fee to send you and your family members targeted ads. If that doesn’t creep you out, maybe it should. Remember when your parent or grandparent told you there was “no such thing as a free lunch”? On the internet, that’s especially true. When a service seems to be “free,” you are actually paying for it with your freedom.

Could we really face an economic collapse or a full-blown depression? Honestly, it’s not such a wild thought anymore. Just look around—pay attention to the headlines, the tension in the world, the instability in our own country. A lot of people aren’t asking if it will happen—they’re asking when.

The real question is: are you ready if everything suddenly changes?

Whether it’s a financial meltdown, a state of emergency, or a complete breakdown of society, being prepared isn’t fear—it’s common sense. If things ever spiral out of control, you’ll want to know you did something now to protect yourself and your loved ones later.

That’s why I put together a list—starting with the absolute essentials—you’d want on hand if we ever found ourselves living through a collapse. It’s not about panic. It’s about being proactive. Because when the system falls apart, preparation could make all the difference.

1. Shelter

Food and water are essential, of course—but when I think about what truly holds a family together in tough times, shelter is right at the top. Without a stable place to land, everything else starts to unravel.

Imagine suddenly losing your home or being forced to evacuate. Where would you go? What if you had nowhere lined up, no family nearby to take you in? The thought of ending up in a crowded shelter, surrounded by chaos, gives me chills.

A place where I can grow roots, not just crash temporarily. Because when the world turns upside down, there’s nothing more powerful than knowing you have a safe corner of it to call yours.

2. Water / water purification

72 hours. That is the typical time frame in which it will take you to dehydrate and then die with out water.

If you live on your own land and can run your own well, you’ve already got a huge advantage. That kind of independence is gold. But if you're on city water, there are a few things to think about, especially in a crisis. City water systems can be quickly compromised during a collapse, and on top of that, most municipal water is fluoridated. Whether you agree with it or not, you're drinking something that’s been chemically treated every day.

That’s why having backup options is a must. A rain barrel for collecting water is a no-brainer—and don’t forget a mosquito net to keep pests out. Water purification tablets are another must-have, and a tea kettle for boiling water could be a lifesaver. A lot of water you gather in an emergency might look fine, but that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drink.

When things go south, clean, safe water becomes everything. Prepare now, because when the taps go dry, it’s already too late.

3. Food stuff you can stock

In the event of tough times economic collapse or widespread disaster there are a few things that would fly off the shelves overnight. Water and food. Look in your cupboards, you probably have enough food to last you and your family a month tops, if you are lucky. I would hate to have to compete with mobs of people at Walmart to obtain a few canned goods. Some folks might rush for milk, eggs, or whatever's about to expire. Others go straight for the long-lasting stuff. Me? I'd focus on real essentials—the kind that fuel you and last.

I’d stock up raw honey (nature’s powerhouse), raw milk, and seeds to grow my own vegetables.

I'd also make the switch to raw milk where I can—it’s closer to what nature intended. And if the grid goes down? A backup generator would give me peace of mind.

When everything’s uncertain, going back to the basics—what’s natural, nourishing, and sustainable—feels like the smartest move. To those that want to take it a step further, you can always teach yourself how to grow a garden. There is nothing better and more rewarding than growing your own produce to feed your family.

4. Medical Supplies

So you or a loved one are hurt. Do you have access to a hospital or doctor? You may not. I would want a medicine cabinet stacked with a solid and extended first aid kit. You may not be a DR or have played one on TV…. but with the right equipment and a few medical books you may be able to properly apply a splint, tourniquet or even stitch someone up properly. Preserving the life of a family member or friend.

5. Self-Defense Equipment

When the economy crashes and things get unstable, people get desperate—and that’s when you need to be able to protect yourself and your family. It’s not about living in fear—it’s about being realistic and ready.

If you’re trained and legally allowed, owning a firearm might make sense. But even if that’s not your route, there are other solid options—pepper spray, a stun gun, even a heavy-duty flashlight can give you a fighting chance if things go sideways.

Good locks, solid doors, and just being aware of your surroundings go a long way too. And let’s not forget—having a loyal dog can be one of the best early warning systems out there.

What are the flaws in the education system?

The educational system in our country is just focused on marks and thus demotivates children who think outside the box.

1. It practically says that grades/marks matter than anything in the world.

The system provides children with a large amount of pressure because of which most of them are not even able to develop their creative skills or a passion for something.
Students who do really well in exams are mostly just involved in accademics and activities done in school. And people who are involved in doing something of there own passion just don’t care about accademics resulting in very low grades.
Going to school is like an investment as in my opinion. People spend more than 14 years in school that is a great period of our life, and if the things that we learn from there isn’t worthy enough we probabily should shut it down.

2. The Promotion of Gender Ideology

More and more schools are introducing gender ideology into their curriculums. This can confuse young minds and force them to accept ideas that don’t align with reality or personal beliefs. Instead of learning about real scientific facts, children are bombarded with subjective, political ideas. In homeschooling, you have the power to teach your child the truth based on natural law and protect them from this confusion.

3. The Teachers Don’t Teach, and the Students Don’t Care

A harsh truth in many public schools is that learning barely happens. In too many classrooms, teachers rely on Google Classroom to assign busywork, while students sit scrolling on iPhones and laptops. This lazy cycle leads to shallow understanding and encourages cheating. Students aren’t being challenged, so they avoid harder classes and simply look up answers instead of thinking critically. The result? A generation that has learned how to pass without ever learning anything deeply. How to Start Homeschooling

In the US, you should first check your state laws to see if there are any statutes related to homeschooling. State guidelines may affect how you homeschool.

Then I recommend deschooling for you and for your child. The reason this is important is that most of the things you think of as necessary for “school” are not necessary for a homeschool. You need to let go of things like the traditional classroom method. And your child, if they have attended school, also need time to adjust to taking charge of their education.

The traditional classroom is teacher led and student passive. You do not want to create that dynamic in your home, or you are very likely to burn out.

The most important things to focus on to start homeschooling are:

How best to meet the needs of your child. Think about your child's abilities, interests, internal clock, and general health. Then plan for study, activities, creative play, adequate exercise and rest, and proper nutrition and hydration. Now that they don’t have to raise their hand to go to the bathroom, for instance, they can drink all the water their body needs!

Learning creates connections. In public schools, subjects like history, science, and math are taught separately, making kids think they’re boring or pointless. But in real life, everything connects—cooking involves chemistry, growing food uses math, and history influences everything around us.

With homeschooling, you can give your child books and materials that actually show how the world works—past and present. Instead of watered-down textbooks, they can read about real history, critical events, and how systems have been used to manipulate people. This helps them build awareness, question what they’re told, and see how everything is connected. That’s how real learning happens.

Give kids ownership of their own education. Then guide them in planning what they will learn, and how they will learn it. Sit down with a calendar, their books and other materials, age and ability appropriate goals, and have them create their own lesson plans. Since they are the ones who crafted those expectations, self-motivation kicks in and it's a bit easier to keep them on track.

Redefine success. Shift your focus from recreating school to the true purpose of learning definition of success. We want our kids to enjoy the pursuit of a challenge, develop perseverance, curiosity, and compassion. They need to feel the satisfaction of personal accomplishment as motivation. The goal is for children to value learning, not grades, or certificates, or honor rolls.

I know most people think the first thing you should do is buy textbooks, organize a schoolroom, buy a desk, etc… but most of our associations with school and education aren’t helpful or applicable to a homeschool. Which is why it is good to take some time to let go of it.

Find other homeschool families. Getting to know other families who are involved in homeschool will be a great way to get to know what works and what doesn’t, which resources are good and which are a waste of time, etc. Additionally, having a support system will mean you have someone you can go to when you feel like you are struggling.

Having contact with other homeschool families will also offer opportunities for your child to interact with other children.

You can find out information about homeschooling resources in your area by doing an internet search using the terms "homeschool" plus the name of your city and state. Don’t forget to check social media sites such as Facebook too. These offer great forums for asking questions and reading about the experiences and challenges of others.

Choose a Curriculum

Choosing a curriculum means picking what your child will learn and how they'll learn it. Every child is different—some love reading, others prefer hands-on activities or visual materials. Think about how your child learns best and choose a style that fits them.

You don’t have to follow a strict school method. There are many options out there, from traditional to creative approaches like Montessori or Charlotte Mason. Montessori is a hands-on learning method that lets children learn at their own pace through real-life activities. It encourages independence, problem-solving, and natural curiosity—perfect for younger kids. Charlotte Mason focuses on short lessons, nature, and rich, story-based books called “living books.” It helps build strong character, good habits, and a love for learning in a calm, thoughtful way. Some are religious, some are not. You can mix and match subjects and even switch things up if something isn’t working.

The goal is to give your child an education that suits them—not one made for everyone else. Keep it flexible and simple. What matters most is that your child learns in a way that helps them grow and enjoy learning.

Create a schedule

Make homeschooling a priority. Keep free time separate from "school time," and don't let interruptions or distractions take over. Many children benefit from a daily schedule so they know what you expect from them. You now have primary responsibility over their education, and you need to set parameters so they complete their work.

Homeschooling doesn't have to be six hours a day or five days a week. Pick the schedule that works best for each child. Your five or six-year old may only need a couple hours a day of dedicated schoolwork.

For example, if you are homeschooling your child who is between 1st and 6th grade, you should probably spend about one to two hours per day on their studies. It is a good idea to keep each learning session short (between 10 and 20 minutes for kids from grades 1 to 3, and 20 to 45 minutes for kids from grade 4 to 6). Break up these sessions with fun activities for your child, these could be educational games, but it could also just be independent play time.

If you are homeschooling an older child, it is good to aim for at least two hours (or more) of time spent learning. For older kids, you can teach them about a specific subject for a bit longer than a younger child. For example, you can aim for a 45 minute or longer session.

Be flexible with your schedule.

Although it is a good idea to have some type of schedule, it is important to remember that you may not always be able to stick with that schedule. An activity might take more or less time than you thought, or an interesting field trip opportunity might pop up. Don’t stress about it if you can’t stick to the schedule all of the time.

Many homeschooling parents don’t stick to a strict schedule. If you had planned for a 45 minute session, but your child is obviously becoming very tired and frustrated, then it’s OK to cut it short.

If you have to deviate from the schedule, don’t worry. Do take the time to explain to your child why you are deviating, and how you will makeup for the missed work together.

Allow time for independent activities.

Your child will also spend a lot of their time engaged in independent activities. This doesn’t mean that you should let them sit in front of the TV for hours, though. These activities should typically involve some type of learning or physical activity. These activities can be a lot of fun for kids, they will encourage the child’s independence, and they will be completing the required learning at the same time.

For example, you can have a part of the day where your child engages in physical activity (such as jumping rope or playing basketball, for example), where they do an art project or experiment with science projects. They can practice an instrument or read a book that they choose from a list you have created.

Track Progress

Tracking your child’s progress helps you see how well they’re learning and where they might need extra help. You don’t need to give formal grades—just keep notes, test occasionally, or create a simple portfolio of their work. This gives you a clear picture of what’s working and what isn’t.

By doing this, you can adjust your teaching style, change materials if needed, and make sure your child is moving forward. It also helps plan for future goals, whether that’s higher education, a trade skill, or just becoming a confident, capable person.

Teach Practical Skills

Along with reading and math, it’s important to teach your child real-life skills they’ll use every day. This includes things like cooking, cleaning, gardening, budgeting, basic repairs, and time management. These skills build confidence and independence.

Homeschooling gives you the perfect chance to include practical learning in daily life. Your child won’t just be smart on paper—they’ll know how to take care of themselves and handle real-world situations.

Arrange field trips and extracurricular activities.

Homeschooling doesn’t mean staying home all the time. Field trips and activities outside the house help your child learn through real-world experiences. Visits to museums, farms, historical sites, or even nature walks can make learning exciting and hands-on.

Extracurriculars like sports, art, music, or volunteering also help build social skills, teamwork, and confidence. These activities keep your child active, curious, and connected with the world around them.

Good Parenting is the Key

You don’t have to be perfect, but you must be present. Children need time, attention, and love. Here are a few tips for strong parenting:

Be a good example – Children follow what you do more than what you say.
Discipline with love – Set clear rules and stick to them, but always with care and kindness.
Listen to them – Make sure your child knows their voice matters.
Pray with them – If you’re spiritual, build faith together as a family.
Laugh, talk, and spend time – These little moments are the most powerful.

Teach Them to Help Others

We must raise children who care—not just about themselves, but about others. Teach them:

To be generous
To help those in need
To speak up for what’s right
To defend the weak
To value truth over popularity

A good child is not only smart—they are kind, brave, and full of purpose.

Five years ago, the world as we knew it changed overnight. Under the guise of an unprecedented global emergency, entire nations were locked down—not for an illness, but for something far more insidious.

We lived through a pandemic, yes—but not of a virus. It was a pandemic of manipulation, of relentless government propaganda, corporate greed, and psychological warfare against humanity. And now, five years later, we must ask: What have we actually learned?

A Global Obedience Test

The past five years have proven that those in power wield near-total control. With the stroke of a pen, they rewrote the rules of society, invoking “emergency powers” that were neither legally binding nor democratically debated, yet somehow dictated every aspect of our lives. This was never about public health—it was a worldwide compliance experiment.

They tested how quickly people would submit, how easily fear could turn neighbors against each other, and how division could be sown under the banner of unity. People were encouraged to report friends and family for breaking ever-changing restrictions, unknowingly enforcing an agenda that thrived on fear.

Society was restructured overnight. “Essential” workers were glorified, while others—branded “non-essential”—were cast aside, their livelihoods deemed unimportant. Community bonds were shattered, replaced with tiers of importance dictated by bureaucratic decree.

Programming the Masses: How Language Shapes Our Mind

Words hold far more power than we often realize, and that power isn’t accidental—it’s intentional. On the surface, language seems like a simple tool for communication, but it serves a deeper, often far from innocent purpose. Like Orwell’s Newspeak, where language was deliberately manipulated to control thought, our words similarly shape reality. They program how we perceive the world, influence our decisions, and dictate what we accept as truth.

Much like lines of code, language inputs instructions into our minds. Every word acts as a calculated command—not just an expression, but a force designed to direct our thoughts and actions. The beliefs we hold or the way we react can often be traced back to the words we encounter daily—words crafted to push us toward specific conclusions.

Those who grasp the true power of language use it to influence entire populations. By carefully selecting and manipulating words, they control our reality without us even realizing it. The real question is: how are you being programmed, and for whose gain?

One of the most subtle yet powerful tools in this programming is repetition. Through the illusory truth effect, when we hear something repeated enough times, we begin to believe it’s true, even if it’s entirely false. Politicians, advertisers, and media outlets are well aware of this. They embed ideas into our minds through catchy slogans or repeated claims, transforming falsehoods into accepted realities.

The framing effect is another tactic. The way information is presented can dramatically alter how we feel and react. Consider how a medical treatment with a “90% survival rate” sounds reassuring, but the same treatment described with a “10% mortality rate” feels riskier—despite the reality being identical. Politicians and marketers are experts at using framing to evoke fear or comfort, depending on their agenda.

Then there’s the halo effect, where one positive trait colors our entire perception. For example, when a celebrity endorses a product, we assume the product is just as great as the person promoting it, even if there’s no real connection between them. This taps into our natural tendency to trust familiar faces, allowing words and images to guide our thinking without much scrutiny.

On a more subconscious level, priming influences us in ways we’re often unaware of. Exposure to specific words or themes—like “success” or “wealth”—can subtly shift our mindset toward competition or materialism. In this way, language doesn’t just communicate ideas; it implants them, nudging us toward decisions we may not have made otherwise.

Social dynamics are also heavily shaped by language. Consider the false consensus effect, where certain beliefs are framed as being widely accepted, pressuring us to conform. Phrases like “everyone is doing this” or “this is the latest trend” create social pressure, playing on our desire to fit in. This is closely related to the bandwagon effect, where we’re inclined to follow the crowd to avoid feeling left out.

When confronted with facts that challenge our views, language further entrenches our beliefs through the backfire effect and confirmation bias. Rather than reconsider our positions, we often double down, clinging to our original views. Negative language is especially effective in reinforcing this, as our brains tend to remember emotionally charged words more vividly than neutral or positive ones.

At an even deeper level, subliminal influence embeds itself in our minds without us realizing it. Advertisers and media outlets carefully select words to elicit emotional responses that bypass our conscious mind. These words slip past our defenses and shape how we feel and react, without us even being aware of the control they exert.

Let’s first wake up and smell the reality…that the deck is stacked, everything is rigged, and they are out to get you.

What am I talking about?

The following systems and industries are rigged to cheat you, to suppress you, to control and manipulate you, and ultimately to discard you once you are of no further value.

The Healthcare System

is all about making money at your expense. It’s a complete joke as the system is intentionally engineered to keep you sick, get you addicted, and break you financially.

There is no long-term financial interest in converting sickness or addiction into health and well-being, however, there is a huge financial upside to perpetuating sickness, pain and addiction for as long as possible.

Rather than simplify and focus on both efficiency and effectiveness, the healthcare system is intentionally designed to be complex, confusing and manipulative.

It’s a breeding ground for adversarial rather than collaborative relationships as good claims are intentionally denied, and patients are forced to fight for the care they pay for.

Pharmaceutical and Health Insurance companies have invested billions of dollars with powerful Lobbyist Groups to work the system to buy Politicians, manipulate the media, and deceive the public.

Along the way, they have fine-tuned their true core competency which is marketing.

Doctors are miserable, buried in paperwork, and constantly dealing with skyrocketing malpractice insurance rates. Patients are overwhelmed, under-appreciated and little more than pawns in a big shell game, and the executives and shareholders are reaping huge financial rewards.

Avoiding the traditional healthcare system and focusing on home-based treatments using natural remedies, self-care, and preventive approaches is a powerful way to gain more control over your health. While there are certain medical conditions that do require professional care, for many common illnesses and health maintenance, adopting a holistic, home-based approach can reduce dependence on the conventional healthcare system. The Banking System

is one big scam. The value of your money, interest rates for loans, availability of jobs, and the rate of home foreclosures are all decided by a small group of elite private bankers who run the Federal Reserve.

Contrary to common belief, the Federal Reserve – the Central Bank in the U.S. – is not a government agency.

It’s privately owned, operated and 100% controlled by bankers and therefore is operated for the financial gain of the bankers over the people rather than for the good of the people. The word “Federal” was used only to deceive the people.

How did this happen? Here are the cliff notes…

Woodrow Wilson was elected (selected is a more appropriate word) as the 28th President of the United States in 1913.

The previous year, Wilson met with a small group of wealthy private bankers who presented him with an “offer he couldn’t refuse”. Wilson swore in secret that in exchange for political and financial support from the Rockefeller-Morgan bankers, he would support the banker’s Federal Reserve scam and push for the first-ever progressive income tax on the American people.

President Wilson knew what he did was wrong. After serving the dark forces, and dancing with the devils he would later lament in his diary:

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit… all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world, no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”

How to Avoid the Traditional Banking System and Manage Your Finances Independently

This strategy allows individuals to gain financial independence, minimize their interaction with traditional banking institutions, and maintain control over their wealth in a system built on decentralization, transparency, and community support.

Building Wealth Through Precious Metals and Tangible Assets: Instead of holding money in bank accounts, individuals can store wealth in tangible assets like gold, silver, real estate, or other commodities that hold intrinsic value and are less susceptible to market manipulation.

Using Cryptocurrency for Transactions and Savings: Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins enable peer-to-peer transactions without the need for banks, providing a secure and decentralized method of transferring and storing money.

The Political System

is fueled by institutionalized bribery. Our government is no longer by the people, for the people. Powerful lobbyists, corporations and wealthy people with deep pockets exert a large degree of control over those in office, drowning out the voices of all other citizens.

The Political System has taken a turn down elitist lane and we’ve become a country (and world) led by a small dominant class comprised of powerful members, economic elites who exert total control over the general population — an oligarchy.

Politicians now represent the rich and powerful, not the average citizen. Policies are formed more by corporations and special interest groups than by politicians properly representing the will of the general people.

Sadly, money has become the criteria for who makes it as an elected official. Politicians are rewarded not for their ability to govern, but by their ability to fund raise.

Avoid the Traditional Political System and Build a Self-Sufficient Community

Participating in Local Community Organizing: Engage with local grassroots movements, community groups, and cooperatives that focus on addressing local issues without waiting for political intervention.

The Food System

Understanding Smart Cities, 15-Minute Cities, and How We Win

You’ve likely heard the terms “Smart City”, or its more recent cousin, “15-minute city”, but do you truly understand what these concepts call for? Do you know which organizations are responsible for promoting the ideas? More importantly, are you prepared to survive and thrive in the face of these liberty-crushing plans?

To prepare for any potential future emergency, we must better understand what we are facing. Let’s start by understanding what is meant when we speak of “Smart Cities”.

The term typically describes an urban area which is outfitted with 5G towers (and soon, 6G) which allow the speed and bandwidth needed for autonomous vehicles, robot assistants, and sensors in the street to moderate street lights and issue environmental warning alerts. All of this would be powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Collectively, the sensors, devices, and infrastructure are known as the so-called “Internet of Things” (IoT).

To put it simply, the IoT is the network of digital devices, vehicles, appliances and other physical objects embedded with sensors that allows them to collect and share data. This real time data collection is central to smart city initiatives which claim to be stepping stones towards a digital utopia. Devices connected to the IoT range from smart phones to smart appliances to smart homes or buildings with smart thermostats. Even wearables like smartwatches, earbuds, and fitness tracking devices form part of the IoT. A simple rule of thumb is that if your device is claimed to be “smart”, or has wi-fi or Bluetooth capabilities it can be connected to the IoT.

National Geographic describes a smart city as “a city in which a suite of sensors (typically hundreds or thousands) is deployed to collect electronic data from and about people and infrastructure so as to improve efficiency and quality of life.” NatGeo notes that residents and city workers may need to use apps to access city services, receive and issue reports of outages, accidents, and crimes, pay taxes, fees, etc. They also emphasize the potential use cases for reducing energy useage and making a city more “sustainable”.

Overall, smart cities are being sold to the public as a futuristic cityscape with features like streetlights that automatically turn off when no one is around, or AI algorithms which optimize trash collection routes. We are also being told that by combining AI with sensors and cameras everywhere, we will have autonomous, or driverless, vehicles which will lower traffic congestion.

Unfortunately, the vision for a smart city is actually another step towards losing our liberties and privacy.

In April 2018, the American Civil Liberties Union released a guide detailing important questions that should be asked by city officials seeking to join the smart city movement. The guide, “How to Prevent Smart Cities from Turning to Surveillance Cities”, was written by Matt Cagle, an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California. In January 2019, Mr. Cagle commented on the growth of smart cities and the technology behind them. Here’s what he told:

“When we talk about smart city technology, or the Internet of Things, in the government context, what we’re really talking about is electronics that are maybe small and cheap that can be placed around the city and that essentially can be designed to collect information, whether it’s visual information or audio information or information about say whether a parking space is occupied. But before any smart city technology is acquired or deployed, it’s really important that a city working with its community determine whether that technology is actually smart for the city to do.

Smart city technology can be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It can be another way for the government to amass information that it may not have wanted to collect for law enforcement purposes but that might be vulnerable to that sort of use later or that they may not have wanted to collect for immigration purposes but that could potentially be vulnerable to that later. And again, this technology is often going to be collected by companies that have developed it. So it’s really important for the city and the community to be on the same page about who’s going to own this data as we go forward with this project, who’s going to be able to sell this data, and at the end of the day are communities in control of these technologies.”

Not only are smart cities a privacy nightmare, if the city planners have their way, you may soon find yourself unable to drive without paying fees, or penalized for jaywalking thanks to ubiquitous facial recognition cameras.

What is a 15-Minute City?

This brings us to the concept of 15-minute cities. First discussed by a city planner named Carlos Moreno at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2015, 15-minute cities is essentially the idea that all the resources within a community should be within a 15-minute walk.

As is typical with most ideas promoted by the UN – it doesn’t sound all that horrible in isolation. I mean, who doesn’t want to be able to walk to get their groceries? or to the local community center for a cookout? In fact, some of you may already be living in areas with everything within 15-minutes of your home. Then what’s the problem, you might ask?

Well, when you look beyond the buzzwords you begin to see that, much like smart cities, 15-minute cities have the potential to be used as a way to limit freedom of movement, freedom of speech, and privacy. Many people have also come to fear that concepts like smart cities and 15-minute cities are really about socially engineering people to stop driving their own private vehicles (all in the name of the climate, of course). Carlos Moreno, claims to offer “techniques to change the habits of automobile-dependent city residents”. It doesn’t get much more clear than that.

Moreno has been successful in pushing his idea into the mainstream, with Paris, France first adopting the idea in 2020. But it wasn’t until late 2022 and early 2023 that resistance to 15-minute cities became a public issue. In February 2023, an estimated 2,000 demonstrators gathered in central Oxford, England for a protest against the creation of what is known as a low-traffic neighborhood, or LTN.

To implement the LTN, Oxford officials voted to introduce six “traffic filters” which are intended to limit the use of cars in residential areas of the city during certain hours. Automatic License Plate Reader cameras will scan license plates to fine drivers from outside the county of Oxfordshire who enter these areas during high-traffic times.

Of course, the media has done their best to label the opponents of 15-minute cities as “far right” conspiracy theorists. However, due to the pushback from residents and international attention, the Oxford council recently voted to remove mentions of “15-minute cities” from their city planning documents. While the council voted to remove the phrase from their documents, they made it clear that the still plan to continue their vision of a walkable city with limits on private vehicles. Louise Upton, the cabinet member for planning at Oxford city council told The Times that removing the phrase would make “no noticeable difference to our planning decisions”

Oxford is not the only city taking steps to implement driving restrictions or using digital technology to catalogue the behavior of citizens. Officials of a Canadian municipality recently voted to require tourists to pay $30 Canadian dollars to get a QR code to enter or leave the archipelago known as Îles-de-la-Madeleine. The 12,000 plus residents will be required to show their driver’s licence to enter or leave.

In 2022, Venice, Italy implemented a similar policy with the announcement that they will charge a fee to tourists who visit the historic canals for a single day. The measure is said to be a response to the notorious tourism which overwhelms the region. While the fee is only about $6 USD and only applies on the 29 busiest days of the year, people are required to register and, once again, obtain a QR code via a smartphone. This strikes me as yet another way to corral people into the digital prison being built around humanity.

The World Economic Forum and the United Nations

It should come as a surprise to absolutely no one that the WEF and the UN are two of the bigger proponents of the 15-minute city and Smart City projects. In October 2019, the WEF and the G20 nations launched the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance on Technology Governance.

The Smart Cities Alliance website states that the alliance “establishes and advances global policy standards to help accelerate best practices, mitigate potential risks, and foster greater openness and public trust”. The alliance claims to represent more than 200,000 cities and local governments, as well as companies, startup, research institutions, and civil society communities.

The WEF also reminds us that the push towards smart-15-minute cities is meant to accomplish the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 11, which is focused on making cities and human settlements “inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”. In the interest of this goal (and the rest of the UN SDGs) cities are working to implement a range of so-called smart technologies. It is these technologies and concepts which will be used to corral humanity into tightly controlled, tracked and traced urban environments.
