Thanks for the info! Had a mastectomy 28 years ago and as I age, I’ve put off the yearly mammogram as often as I can. I never have trusted their worth, although the important one I had did show a tumor. But I was at that time peri-menopausal and got one religiously. Makes me wonder…

I had a lumpectomy done well over 30 yrs or more ago, with my lymph-nodes removed under my right arm; and after many yrs of reading learned that I NEVER needed to have surgery (lumpectomy) since my ductal carcinoma wasn't as deadly as I was lead to believe....I have "not" had any more mammographies for over 20 yrs and I'm perfectly fine. I just turned 80 and walk 5 days a week for exercise and try to eat healthy. The FDA is totally worthless and comprised--they DON'T care about safety nor care about the 'healthy welfare' of all citizens!
