Think the sun causes skin cancer? Think again. This article reveals the overlooked link between seed oils, diet, and rising cancer rates—plus how ancient wisdom, healthy fats, and natural sunlight may actually protect your skin. Discover which oils to avoid and how small changes to your diet can lead to better skin and overall health.
This topic became very popular recently somehow, everyone is writing about the bad seed oils, but I just wonder corn, canola, soybeans, cottonseed plants were there for what, ages?? And people never made oils out of those?? First only in 20th century? Apparently soybean oil was already very popular early 1900, corn oil was used since 19th century, so why did the cancers didn't show up earlier??? GENETIC MODIFICATIONS of exactly those 4 first, corn, soybeans, canola, cottonseed. Because the genetic modifications introduced in parallel chemicals accompanying the growth of these new NO MORE PLANTS, but rather bacterial+viral+plants genetically modified HYBRIDS, one got not only a FOREIGN, PATENTED food on plates but additionally every cell was binding the No 1 Monsanto bestseller glyphosate, a carcinogen!!! Why the hell NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THESE REAL ISSUES HERE???? That's exactly the very same issue of everyone talking about covid 'vaccines', where in fact, these are gene therapies, have nothing in common with 'vaccines'. And the tip of it is, these jabs are NOW GENETICALLY MODIFY HUMANS, the genocide escalates, exponentially towards a total annihilation.
Last thing, anyone with the non-malignant skin basal carcinoma, just take 15% IODINE solution and cover the affected area 3-4 times a day. You cancer will be GONE in ~1 month! Didn't have a chance to test it on the malignant form, but worth to try too. Oh, actually Dr. Thomas Lodi says it worked for his melanoma patients too, just needs longer time, couple of months.
Good points, well raised. The author is beholden to his readers to answer them correctly. I feel the whole context and content about seed oils as described here is ridiculous. It doesn’t require three coconuts for three spoons of oil. Three coconuts will give about 300 gms of copra, the completely dried mass of coconut flesh inside the shell, which is pressed ( cold or hot) to get the oil and you will get about 180 gms of oil ( oil content of copra is 60% by weight). Beef Tallow contains 38% of Linoleic acid (w-6) slightly more than corn oil and slightly less than sesame oil. Canola oil and peanut oil contain about 22% of w-6, making them much safer than beef tallow, if the concern is about w-6. Monounsaturated fatty acid ( MUFA, oleic acid, w-9, by different names), the universally acclaimed safe fat type that made Olive oil (75% MUFA) the darling of nutritionists, is substantially present in peanut oil (58%), canola oil 61%, Avacado oil (60%). Beef Tallow contains only 20% of it, lard and duck fat are much better (48%). In terms of the perceived villain, linoleic acid, many seed oils as above are safer than many animal fats. Yes, some seed oils like Sunflower and Safflower are very high in w-6 ( 60%, 75%), but today, modified sunflower oil at 80% MUFA is available. Seed oils are as old as mankind. In many ancient and still thriving cultures like India, where I am from), seed oils ( peanut, sesame, mustard) have been known for millenia and these races didn’t perish from skin cancer. If there is 200 year old time link between the advent of seed oils and the increased incidence of skin cancer, it is simply fortuitous. Life on this planet has changed so much and there could have been any number of triggers.
considers Canola oil as a PLASTIC oil. He described its toxic properties quite well.. In EU canola oil is used as a car fuel, and in agriculture, the plants are mainly used to feed stock... It is also sold as a cooking oil, but that's for the clueless...
If you have read the book, please explain to me what is plastic oil, why Canola oil is so. I cannot open the access to the book. Even granting the fact that the Canola seed is a genetically modified mustard/rapeseed, the oil does not contain any protein or DNA matter, as it is a pure triglyceride. Its source, a genetically modified seed, is only incidental in the context of the oil and no one consumed the deoiled seed directly. In fact, the oil can be obtained by simply mixing the individual triglyceride parts.
Very helpful article. Many years ago, I had a melanoma in situ, then a few years later breast cancer. I was on a vegetarian diet and eating "fake meat" occasionally (loaded with unnatural chemicals and ingredients) and not terribly healthily (it was in an institutional setting, so I ate what was given me). After cancer, I changed my diet drastically with adding good meat and have, so far, avoided a recurrence and that was over 28 years ago. Still, I could improve further based on your recommendations. The rest is in the good Lord's hands. Thank you.
Whoa, well researched, I had no idea that the culprit was seed oils concerning skin cancer. I figured it was just “ chemicals” I am a little disappointed you didn’t include the extensive vitamin D benefits the sun delivers. Thx so much for sharing, I personally lay in the sun, and work out in the sun to gain as much exposure as possible. This information is very important to someone who uses the sun for vitamin D absorption. Vitamindsociety.org
This was an eye-opening read, not just for the details, but for the reminder that history and nature still have so much to teach us. I really appreciated the sections exploring how animals and ancient societies interacted with the sun. It reframes the conversation from one of fear to one of balance and respect.
"We lack robust safety data on most of the estimated 30,000 chemicals in wide commercial use registered under the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act. But the greatest concern may lie in the long-banned legacy chemicals that continue to contaminate the food supply, known as PLOPs—persistent lipophilic organic pollutants. These include dioxins, PCBs, and insecticides such as DDT."
ANIMAL PRODUCTS: ORGANIC GRASS-FED VS CONVENTIONAL
"Many consumers have been led to believe that organic grass-fed beef and other animal products are free of harmful toxins. This has been the mantra promoted by the organic sector of the meat and poultry industries for years. Dr. Greger addressed this misconception:
Surprisingly, the consumption of organic meat does not seem to diminish the cancer-causing potential associated with the PLOPs in meat. All samples were found to be contaminated, with minimal differences between meat raised organic versus conventional."
Thank you so much for the thorough article! I have vitiligo hence very little natural protection from the sun. My skin gets very dry and irritated when using zinc oxide based sunscreens. I cannot find a clean oil based sunscreen. I tend to stay out of the sun but want the benefits that you describe in your article. Do you have any suggestions or resources that you can recommend?
Research deeper about melatonin intake, what it really does. It MIGHT being helpful to You. Please forgive, if that s No helpful to You, as I have no idea what it is about (vitiligo) and not resarching it - but it came immediately into my mind and Intuition/sudden thoughts, without reflection are often very useful hints - that s who I dare to answer. All the Best to You and author- Thank You for the article!

YOU GET IT!!!!👍👏
Thank you!
Being in the sun, with no sunscreen or sun glasses actually PREVENTS cancer!
I have formed a “sun callous”, and I no longer burn.
Your body is made for the sun! Unfortunately, some people have been brainwashed, and stay OUT of the sun (why problems arise).
You are 💯regarding oils💥! I diverted😉.

Thank you so much—I’m truly grateful that it brought you value.
A recent independent survey of otc SPF 50+ sunscreens available in Australia revealed that most do not perform as per label. Here is the link:

Excellent article! You’ve provided a wealth of information.
Our food supply is even more toxic than one might imagine or care to believe, especially around the consumption animal products.
